The National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Anthony Inglis, make their debut at Bolesworth to celebrate British music from across the home nations. They will be joined by the UK’s best selling classical artist Russell Watson, Classical Brit Award winning Welsh male vocal group Only Men Aloud, Soprano Annette Wardell, The Pipes and Drums of the Scots Guards Association and The Great British Prom Choir Competition winners Heartbeat Chorus and Corobella. The evening will be packed with performances of Proms favourites, closing with a spectacular firework display.

PROGRAMME
5:00 pm - Gates open 7:30 pm The National Symphony Orchestra are joined on stage by Welsh male voice choir Only Men Aloud, Soprano Annette Wardell and a traditional piped band for a musical tour through the home nations. Beginning in England with the Dam Busters March and I Vow To Thee My Country, we then move to Ireland for an Irish Dance (Toss the Feathers) and Danny Boy. In Wales, we will hear Bread of Heaven and Calon Lan, finishing in Scotland with the Skyboat Song, Scotland The Brave and Flower of Scotland. 8:30 pm - Interval 9:00 pm The fantastic Russell Watson will join us on stage. The 2nd half will include further iconic tracks such as Swing Low Sweet Chariot, You’ll Never Walk Alone and a selection from one of the most loved British musicals, Oliver. We will conclude with traditional Proms favourites and a spectacular firework display. 10:00 pm - Concert finishes |
