Join us for The Knebworth Proms on Sunday 20th August 2017 for a tribute to Great British Music.
The National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Anthony Inglis, make their debut at Knebworth to celebrate British music from across the home nations. They will be joined by Classical Brit Award winning Welsh male vocal group Only Men Aloud, Soprano Annette Wardell, Home Counties Pipes and Drums and the Great British Prom Choir Competition winners City Chorus. The evening will be packed with performances of Proms favourites, closing with a spectacular firework display.
There will be a magnum of champagne for the best dressed British iconic character!

5:30 pm - Car parks and gates open
The National Symphony Orchestra are joined on stage by Welsh male voice choir Only Men Aloud, Soprano Annette Wardell and a traditional piped band for a musical tour through the home nations. Beginning in England with the Dam Busters March and I Vow To Thee My Country, we then move to Ireland for an Irish Dance (Toss the Feathers) and Danny Boy. In Wales, we will hear Bread of Heaven and Calon Lan, finishing in Scotland with the Skyboat Song, Scotland The Brave and Flower of Scotland.
8:30 pm - Interval
Including further iconic tracks such as Swing Low Sweet Chariot, You’ll Never Walk Alone and a selection from one of the most loved British musicals, Oliver. We will conclude with traditional Proms favourites and a spectacular firework display.
10:00 pm - Concert finishes
